The senior team had a 2 point win over County Champions St. Mary's in the league semi final replay played in Markievicz Park on Sunday last.  Trailing throughout the game, the team put together some fine moves resulting in a splendid goal from the boot of John Marren.  This gave Tourlestrane the lead for the first time, which they held until the finish.  The final score was Tourlestrane 1- 06 St. Mary's 0-07.  The game saw the welcome return from injury of Eamonn Walsh and Fintan Kennedy A speedy recovery is wished to Con O'Meara who sustained a severe injury in the early stages of this game and will be out of action for the foreseeable future.

The team will now face Curry in the League final to be played on Sunday December 2nd in Tubbercurry at 2:00pm.  This will be followed by a reception in Joe Dan's Pub.

Congratulations to Eamonn O'Hara on his recent All-Star Nomination.  The awards ceremony will be held on Friday November 30th .  On Saturday December 1st Eamonn will be attending a presentation for the International Rules Series team.  The Club wishes Eamonn continued success and the very best of luck

On Sunday last in Markievicz Park the senior team faced County Champions St. Mary’s in the league semi final. Forced to field an under strength team due to injuries and work commitments, Tourlestrane put up a strong first half performance to lead at the interval by 4 points. St. Mary’s made a second half come back to draw level at full time on a score of Tourlestrane 1-09 St. Mary’s 1-09.
The replay of this game is set for Sunday November 25 in Markievicz Park at 1:30pm. Details may change as the Connacht Club final is also scheduled for this date. Further details at training.
Congratulations to Theresa and Brendan Walsh, Rhue, on the birth of their son last week.

The minor team were defeated in the county “B” final by Enniscone on Saturday last. Played in ideal conditions in Markievicz Park, at halftime the score was Tourlestrane 0-3 Enniscrone 0-1.Tourlestrane held the lead throughout the game when an Enniscrone goal put 1 point between the teams and this was to prove the decider. Final score Enniscrone 1-5 Tourlestrane 0-7.

At the monthly meeting held on Monday last a lengthy discussion took place regarding the findings of the County Board and recommendations to improve  under age football in the county
